IT at the ICRC

By joining our organization, you will have an opportunity to practice your profession in stimulating, complex, and sometimes challenging environments where your work can really make a difference.

ICT engineers at the ICRC carry out large-scale computer and telecommunication infrastructure projects independently, according to ICRC standards, and provide technical support and training on ICT matters in the assigned country or countries.

They monitor the situation of ICT installations and, in consultation with the respective management, take appropriate measures to guarantee that ICT set-ups function properly and policies and procedures are respected. They install, maintain, exploit and adapt existing large ICT infrastructure and material independently. They also conduct intermittent tests on ICT equipment, hardware and software networks, and other devices to ensure optimal performance and standard configuration.
