Industry Value Advisors provide industry thought leadership, strategic solution advisory, and expert consultation on value management to support customer co-innovation, enterprise transformation, and business process performance improvement programs. You support customers and prospects by assessing strategic objectives, innovation scenarios, key improvement opportunities and other sources of incremental economic value

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Value Selling

As a valued member of the Industry Value Advisory Team, your 1st primary aim is to provide expert consultation in the pre-sales process on value selling and implementation process which includes the development of business cases with quantified monetary benefits that help create a value-based strategy for technology sales and deployment. You will apply value-selling methods, benchmarks and tools to deliver comprehensive value propositions and business content with clear ROI/TCO.

Customer Engagement: Your 2nd aim is to translate customer business strategies into seamless solution offerings and guide the client through critical choices of solutions and platforms translating this into compelling investment. You will act as Hub for stakeholders and act as lead with clients at C-level to drive value-based selling at all stages of the process. This will also include Field Enablement, tools and Best Practice. Even further, use your fine-tuned analysis to develop, refine and adopt standardized innovative selling methods, tools and content.

Skills: You will bring your in-depth knowledge of one or more industry sectors, mixed with your advanced listening and analytical skills to build the right strategy for your clients composed of large-scale French and international accounts. Come as you are and use your strong relationship building skills to create and nurture partnerships internally with Global Accounts and Executive management and externally up to C-level with partners and clients alike. You will be active in thought leadership, drive partners enablement, participate in industry events and much more.

The Belux Team will operate in an EMEA and wider global context with high impact and high visibility enabling them to grow their careers either in Belgium, Luxembourg and abroad, your next move could be into major accounts, partner roles or a move abroad into high-growth regions. You will access high-level learning programs to constantly develop your soft and hard skills.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Sales / Consulting / Industry Solutions experience including min 5 years of management consulting experience with leading international firm.
  • Experience with IT / business alignment issues in major transformation programmes.
  • Account Engagement Design and Facilitation (executive workshops / diverse expectations)
  • Experience with large account management
  • Experience with business case creation, analysis, and research.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of value selling methodology & processes, opportunities, value chain and ecosystem analyses experience.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, English, any other language an asset.
