Deputy Production Manager

Your Responsibilities

We have an exciting opening for a Deputy Production Manager, based in Korbach (D) or Sarreguemines (France) in this role, you are part of our Manufacturing & Logistics function, and focus on refining the planning, organization, and coordination of our production activities as a strong partner to our Production Manager.

Your main responsibilities of this role will be to…

  • Shape and learn. Dedicate time to learn about operational topics, ongoing projects and production activities and take ownership to actively shape your responsibilities and remit to ensure future business success in production.
  • Create and improve. We are looking for a collaborative team-player to strive in a creative way for quality improvements and reduction of non-conform materials as well as ensuring our safety measures and adjusting if necessary.
  • Engage and communicate. You will have to communicate a lot with your plant manager and their management board, your super-intendents and of course your employees and people working on the shopfloor. The major purpose is to motivate, engage and coach them for best performance.
  • Develop and grow. Our people are in the center of our strategy and therefor topics like learning and development are of utmost importance. Your role is to ensure a safe learning environment in the plants, where people strive for growth and constant moving out of their comfort zone.

 

Your Qualifications

To make this role a success, you will need to utilize your strength in communication, your passion for state-of-the-art technology, and high sensitivity for people topics.

Your key strengths and qualification include…

  • Passion. You have a passion for state-of-the-art technology, comprising of hardware, software and systems, as well as a high sensitivity for people topics
  • Education. Ideally you have an academic degree in industrial engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics or similar
  • Skills. Strong networking, communication and management skills in an international environment in English language are part of your DNA.
  • Experience. If you have work experience in production this would be of advantage but not necessary
