As a Quality Specialist you are executing and optimizing the Quality Management System within CARIAD with the aim to reduce claims and warranty costs and to raise customer satisfaction with high quality products.
The Corporate Quality department is divided into five sub-departments - "Quality Governance", "Quality Solution Trains", the "Quality Center of Competence (CoC)", "Quality Supplier" and "Policy, Regulation & Standardization". The Digital Business & Mobility Services Unit is the combination of customer experience and management of requirements for the technology stack within the implementation of mobility services and digital business portfolio for all brands.

Our data science & engineering competence center team of 30 experts is designing, implementing and running a cutting edge cloud-based analytics platform and analytics services for the Volkswagen Group digital ecosystem. These services include mobile, web as well as intelligent mobility backend services connecting customers with their vehicles. The analytics platform combines data from different sources and enables development of data driven applications. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ownership of the product development of one of our data products, that means definition and implementation of analytical use cases and data products in the domain of vehicle, digital services and customer analytics
  • Capturing of customer requirements together with data scientists and domain experts in a SAFe framework to develop, integrate, enhance and operate data-driven offerings
  • Central point of contact for the prioritization of requirements and the product backlog and steering of the business as well as legal and technical requirements
  • Ensure that compliance and security processes are addressed
  • Drive the development and implementation of the product in close collaboration with the solution program, all VW group brands and markets according to our agile principles
  • Consulting of internal and external stakeholders regarding the business-specific and technological capabilities, specifications and features of the product

WHO YOU ARE

  • Real-life experience in analytics projects that went live from technical and business side - ideally in leading role

  • Strong analytical thinking and understanding about data driven use cases

You are working in the area of "Diagnosis & OTA". At CARIAD we are the backbone of mobility and constitute the interface to vehicle mechatronics in the Volkswagen Group. You will work in the team “Benchmarking and Competitive Analysis”. We continuously analyze our competitors and define benchmarks correspondently. Moreover, we manage our own Car Pool consisting of Competitor and VW Group cars to generate data in house. In cooperation with the respective internal departments we determine potential gaps between the competitor’s products and our own and derive action programs to improve continuously.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Your main task is the strategic and administrative management of the car pool, including the development and implementation of further fields of use
  • Be responsible for the analysis, illustration and maintenance of competitor data generated by the car pool
  • Conduct technical product analyses considering modern benchmarking methods with a focus on applicability, technological limits, and scalability
  • Continuously overview the market and cooperate with external partners such as suppliers, tech industry partners and universities
