In this role you will function within the department Monitoring and Maintenance.

You manage several offshore teams working on offshore wind balance of plant assets for internal and external clients. Equans’ Offshore division in Hoboken is looking for a Project Manager (Offshore Wind).

In this role you manage a project from tender handover to taking over by the client.

You lead the project team for on- and offshore activities. The team consists of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction team. You are responsible for planning, preparation and execution of the works, including HSSE compliance, cost and schedule.

Your team consists of various groups in a matrix organization. You coordinate the overall project plan and monitor all project-related activities. This to ensure that they meet the agreed HSE, budget, contractual terms and quality that is required for delivery to client and in line with the division’s targeted business objectives.

The job in details:

  • HSE – execute activities safely:
    • be the leader when it comes to HSE in the project – setting standards, implementing them and raising the bar with the Equans team and contractors, solid implementation of HSE programs that are already started. Consistency in the business unit is essential
  • quality:
    • control inspection strategy and plans – and how it is implemented. Drive closure before sail out. In the end we are here to deliver offshore projects that are unmanned and have minimum 5 years warranty – quality is key to sustain this, so they do not lose value further on
  • integrate project activities:
    • be the leader when it comes to optimizing activities between JV partners – and the wider team.  Integrate activities and manage priorities on a day to day basis. Lead problem solving for items that need resolution. Support to deliver a product, in conformity with division schedules, interface matrix and site activities
  • team management – One Team:
    • lead the overall project team which is formed from matrix staff. Essential is delivery through others. Plan resources and people to have balanced execution teams. Integrating subcontractors & co-workers from supporting services in order to have staff with the proper competencies (knowledge, skills & attitude) at the proper positions efficiently working together as One Team. Your main activities:

  • develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET (Core), Angular, and TypeScript
  • work with a team to design, develop, and implement new features using the latest technologies
  • collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of various components
  • continuously improve application performance and scalability
  • help mentor and train junior team members
  • ensure support for external teams regarding your area of expertise and manage production issues

What do you need?

  • strong knowledge in C# and TypeScript development
  • experience building modern webservices using ASP NET (Core)
  • experience building modern applications with the Angular framework or other similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
  • experience with a CI/CD tool such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Travis, Jenkins,…
  • experience with SAP, Salesforce and/or other enterprise applications is a plus
  • extensive knowledge of the most used data-interchange formats (JSON, XML,…)
  • ability to work with SQL Server (mainly) but able to adapt to other SQL or NoSQL databases
  • basic knowledge of the Azure Environment (App Service, Networking,…)
  • basic knowledge of microservice architecture, kubernetes, infra as a code concept
  • basic knowledge of general IT topics such as networking, infrastructure, security and many more

Identity and Access Management Expert

We are looking for an Identity and Access Management Expert (Brussels).

As part of Equans’ journey to become an autonomous organization, we are building a new IT Operating model, in which we will be working as a global organization to deliver some of our core IT components. As a Group we have defined a number of Shared Line of Service which will deliver services globally across all business units (24/7).

Equans is looking for an IAM expert to lead the IAM Team within the SLS DWP. The IAM team is a small team of highly skilled and experienced IAM experts. Together, they manage and continually improve the global IAM landscape. They act as a 3rd line for our IT partner in the day-to-day operations. They define, analyze and execute major changes and participate in global projects.

As an IAM expert, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Equans IAM technology stack. You do this in close cooperation with your colleagues and the IAM team of our IT partner located in India.

The IAM team is responsible for IT2IT operational support.

Your tasks include:

  • working with the IAM team in India to resolve incidents and answer questions from local IT with regards to IAM services
  • managing and maintaining a large scale IAM architecture (+100 domain controllers, single forest multi-domain setup, Azure AD, MIM,…)
  • maintain the overall security of the architecture, following the standards and guidelines of the Cybersecurity team
  • creating and maintaining SOP’s to the IAM team in India
  • participate in small and large IAM projects such as user migrations, carve-in and carve-out projects,…
  • maintain technical documentation

What do you need to be successful in this function?

  • bachelor’s degree in IT, information security, computer science, or a related field
  • 3 tot 5 years of experience in similar environment
  • extensive hands-on knowledge and experience with access management solutions and best practices
  • technical skills:
    • Active Directory in a large environment (3+ years)
    • Azure AD, ADConnect en MIM (3+ years)
    • Okta (3+ years)
    • PKI infrastructure (+3 years)
    • PAM/PIM solutions, such as CyberArk (optional)
    • IGA solutions (optional)
    • scripting and automation (e.g., Powershell)
    • certification not required, but considered a major plus
    • knowledge of IAM concepts: SAML, Cryptography, identity governance, AuthN, AuthZ and so much more
    • experience with large Active Directory environments including principles of AD Control Tower
    • Microsoft Azure AD or Entra, including ADConnect and MIM
    • experience with PAM solutions
    • knowledge of Security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO27001, MITRE ATT&CK,…)
    • knowledge of Microsoft IAM security concepts (MS-500, SC-300,…)
    • knowledge of ITIL, Prince2, Agile are a plus
    • accredited credentials, such as the CISSP, are advantageous
  • good communicator
  • able to work both in team and independently
  • able to write and maintain technical documentation, FAQ’s, SOPs,…

Equans is looking for a Cyber Security GRC Expert to join our Cyber Security department in our office in Brussels.

Your responsibilities  

  • perform risk assessments
  • perform business impact analysis
  • respond to Customer Cyber Readiness Questionnaires
  • security assurance assessment of vendors/suppliers to the organization
  • creation and maintenance of policy, guidelines and processes in line with group policy
  • organize awareness training

You will report to the MBU CISO BeLux.


Are you our new Cyber Security GRC?

  • you have a master’s degree in computer science/IT technologies or Cyber Security
  • 10 years of relevant experience of which 5 in Information Security
  • you have experience in Security and Risk Management

  • Cyber security certification is a plus
