Analog Design Engineer

Your future job

As an Analog Design Engineer at Melexis, you will develop the analog design for the Integrated Circuit (IC) based on the customer requirements.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop a wide variety of products within the Current Sensors Business Line.
  • Design a variety of blocks (ADC, DAC, supply systems, amplifiers,…).
  • Take ownership of all design activities from specification to adoption by the customer.

Embedded Software Engineer

Your future job

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will join our Software Competence Center and you will design and develop software products, components and applications.

More specifically, you will :

  • Architecture, design, develop and test software to be embedded in a variety of Melexis products (integrated sensors, actuators,sensor interfaces).
  • Adopt the software development methodology and prepare the necessary documentation accordingly.
  • Cooperate with system architects, analog and digital design engineers and application engineers.
  • Support your software products after their release.
  • Document, analyse and review requirements.
  • Contribute to Software Competence Center improvement activities.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer science, Mathematics) and you have a first relevant working experience.
  • You have strong knowledge of C and Assembler development for embedded systems that run real-time interrupt driven applications. You also have knowledge of Python. Notions of C++, MATLAB/Simulink are an asset.
  • You have knowledge or notions of fixed-point signal processing.
  • You have knowledge of digital microcontroller systems and you are capable to write software that interacts with digital electronics at its lowest level.
  • You have an affinity towards analog electronics.
  • You have proven skills in debugging and verification.
  • Familiarity with software revision control tools and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with modern software development techniques (continuous integration, unit testing, static code analysis, Agile methodology, peer review, etc.).

Development Engineer

Your future job

As a Development Engineer at Melexis, you will develop and own new processes (MEMS, wafer post process, CMOS, package etc.), technologies (package, MEMS, Hall, Pixel etc.) and know-how (EMC compliance, colour processing etc.) in the frame of a sub-project according to the Melexis product development roadmap and the Melexis supplier strategy.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop new innovative technologies / processes / know-how and optimized technical solutions regarding specific technical areas taking into account the internal customer requirements.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor degree in IT with 5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, preferably in DevOps, or at least have a good understanding of devops methodologies.
  • You have a good understanding of code - Melexis works a lot with Python, Java and BASH scripting.
  • You have experience in CI/CD processes and tools like Git/Github, Jenkins.
