Working at NTT
This role will accept requests from client via agreed channels. They perform initial validation on the request by verifying contract information. Upon verification, they ensure the right classification and prioritization assigned to the request. They act promptly according to work instructions and ensure the right escalation to the next resolver group. This role is the first line contact for clients and they play a critical role in offering a professional service experience.
This is an entry level role, with no need of previous IT Experience.

This role will need:

  • Participate in the development and evolution of innovative applications to meet the needs of our different departments;

Working at NTT

The MS Engineer (L1) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions. The MS Engineer (L1) focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests.

Topic:

In this context, the objective of this internship is to explore Smart Building concepts and technologies, identify and understand real-life use cases that could fit with the demand of the market, build a demo environment that could be presented to clients, and ultimately answer the following questions:

  • Which solution is the best to offer to our clients?
  • How can this solution improve the working efficiency and environment?
  • What can be proposed to improve the solution?

The lab environment will rely on Cisco Spaces platform together with hardware and software components: Smart Wifi Access Points, Sensors, IP Cameras, Videoconferencing devices, Digital Signage/Pathfinding/Room Reservation software solutions…

Your role will consist in:

  • Understand what Smart Building and Smart Workplaces concepts are and their value proposition.
  • Identify and select real use cases per verticals (offices, healthcare, industry…).
  • Understand the variety of Hardware and Software provided by Cisco and compatible third-party, and which combination is the best for each use case.
  • Implement & test in the NTT Lab a scenario that reproduce these use cases, using Cisco Spaces and HW/SW components.
  • Compare tested solutions and draw conclusions as to which solutions should be offered to clients and which solutions are better for use.

You will be part of the “Workplace” global team, composed of experienced Workplace engineers.

During the internship, you will receive the support of a Senior engineer as well as the team leader to guide you while defining the approach and milestones. Working at NTT
This role will accept requests from client via agreed channels. They perform initial validation on the request by verifying contract information. Upon verification, they ensure the right classification and prioritization assigned to the request. They act promptly according to work instructions and ensure the right escalation to the next resolver group. This role is the first line contact for clients and they play a critical role in offering a professional service experience.
This is an entry level role, with no need of previous IT Experience.

This role will need:

  • Participate in the development and evolution of innovative applications to meet the needs of our different departments;
  • Share your knowledge with other specialists;
  • Manage internal projects from the production of specifications to implementation.

Be a part of our team where you will: 

  • Technical Capability. Works under supervision, supporting standard technical queries related to a single product/small set of products (e.g. Cisco products, operating system, basic networking, PCs). Manage incoming client contacts and escalations with professionalism and proactivity, in order to prioritize their needs and provide unique solutions to problems.
  • Business Awareness. Develops an understanding of customer’s environment and service delivery requirements to enable the delivery of a first-class service. Own the Stakeholder Experience by liaising with diverse Helpdesks (for troubleshooting assistance), product partners (both certified through the client and third-parties).
  • Process. Documents actions taken in resolving routine customer enquiries ensuring established processes/systems are followed.
  • Problem Solving. Takes ownership for listening to and understanding basic customer problems asking relevant questions to resolve typically known problems within required timescales. Knows when problems are ‘beyond them’ and escalates so they can be resolved.
  • Service Level. Escalates issues as necessary to deliver required service level and meet or exceed customer expectation/SLAs. Monitors performance through statistical reporting and analysis.
  • Team Working. Acts as a team player and is viewed by colleagues as a helpful and effective member of the team.
  • Personal Development. Takes ownership of own development and has a development plan in place.

Languages:

  • Fluency in French is a must.
  • Fluency in Italian is a must.

Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for client’s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely. 

Working at NTT

The primary responsibility of the TS Implementation Engineer is to provide technical support to NTT (Ltd) clients. This includes remotely supporting clients within service level agreements (SLAs), to install and configure software and hardware, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis and adhere to any related processes such as change management. The TS Implementation Engineer (L1) is involved in more complex environments for installation, configuration and fault management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients on site to meet complex requirements of a solution.
  • Escalate unresolved problems and issues to the relevant third parties.
  • Respond to escalated client requests and support client applications to a first line resolution.
  • Escalate complex problems to the relevant third parties.
  • Write reports and proposals and complete and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.
  • Act as coach and mentor to more junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.
  • Assume responsibility for the co-ordination of the activities of the Engineers, in line with performance targets.
  • May be required to serve periodically on the customer service desk, providing third line telephonic, remote and on-site support and problem management.
  • Included in higher complexity design work, with input to the design expected.
  • Expected to take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.
