RWE

The energy sector transition is neither female nor male and concerns all of us. This is why we promote equality between men and women at all levels. Like all DAX-listed companies, RWE has to make sure, among other things, that at least 30% of the Supervisory Board is female and at least 30% male. And, because we’re determined to see more women in leading positions, RWE has set up a training programme to help female executives prepare themselves for a seat on the Supervisory Board.

Additionally, our RWE women’s network promotes free and open exchange of ideas and experiences and encourages members to aim high in their career goals. We’ve also set up plenty of similar initiatives, including a platform for female employees with qualifications in maths, IT, science and technology, offering career support and opportunities for networking.

Career opportunities

These are just an example of the types of job opportunity the company offers. More information on available positions will be available at the Summit.

About

RWE is leading the way to a green energy world. With our comprehensive investment and growth strategy ‘Growing Green’, we are expanding our powerful and green generation capacity. By 2030, it will have an international capacity of 50 gigawatts. To this end, RWE is investing €50 billion gross in this decade.

We are rigorously and responsibly phasing out nuclear energy and coal. Government-mandated exit roadmaps have been defined for both energy sources. We reduced our CO2 emissions by over 60% between 2012 and 2020. Our portfolio is based primarily on offshore and onshore wind, solar, hydropower, hydrogen, batteries, biomass and gas. Our Supply & Trading business creates customised energy solutions for large customers. We have locations in the attractive markets of Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

So who are we? We’re the 20,000-plus family who work at RWE. The ones ploughing all our energy, all our passion, into making a greener, more sustainable future closer, day by day. And you can be part of our growth. Be the heart and soul of the energy revolution. Be the future. It’s time to choose what kind of world you want.

“Our energy for a sustainable life.”
